Alessandra Isabel de Carvalho

Alessandra holds a Bachelor's and Master's in History from the Federal University of Paraná and a PhD in History from the State University of Campinas. She is an associate professor in the Department of History and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in History (Master's) at the State University of Ponta Grossa. She is also editor of the Regional History Magazine (RHR) and coordinator of the Research Nucleus/Laboratory in Memory, Culture and Nature. Her research is in the field of Environmental History, with an emphasis on the relationships between people and mountains (doctoral thesis), the history of the Araucaria Forest, and traditional erva-mate production (current research). Her experience is in the field of History, working mainly on memory, nature, culture and behavior.
